Databases

Databases are search tools designed to help you explore scholarly literature such as journal articles and conference papers. Most databases allow you to sort, filter, save and export your results.

Comprehensive database covering all subjects. Use it to search millions of online journal papers, conference proceedings and other publications.
Library & Information Science Abstracts (LISA) This link opens in a new window
Index and abstracts of the scholarly literature relating to information science from 1969 onwards. Subject coverage includes all aspects of librarianship, library users, information retrieval and more.
Library Literature & Information Science Full Text (H.W. Wilson) This link opens in a new window
Indexing and abstracting of journals going back to 1980, with some full text coverage. Subjects include automation, cataloging, censorship, circulation procedures, classification, copyright legislation, government aid, library associations and conferences, library equipment and supplies, personnel administration, and preservation of materials.

Enables you to answer methodology questions during the research process.

Journals

Journals are published on a regular basis to showcase new research. They contain articles written on a particular subject area and present new findings.
